//Bae doesn’t need to know that, okay?
And that answered that. Killian nodded, understanding. Neverland would provide all Bae needed to survive, and frankly, the fishing in that realm was sublime. There were plants and herbs aplenty and game. He nodded. ”Agreed, lad. Perhaps we might traverse the portal back and see one another there?”
Bae grinned at him and nodded. “Yes, perhaps we will see each other there. And you can earn back your name as the fiercest pirate in Neverland.” he teased, laughing.
Gold nodded at the succinct statement about who he was. Magic had truly brought out the worst in him. Or the power it gave him had. At his question about Emma, Gold nodded again. “Yes, Emma…her parents had to send her away right after she was born because of the curse. She broke the curse and…it was supposed to get better after that. I never factored in the outside world and that people would notice magic. That world…it was all for nothing in the end, everything I put her through was for nothing. You were here.”
“I guess you didn’t really think that one through, did you? Make a whole land suffer because of your mistakes.” Bae mumbled, rolling his eyes. “I didn’t land here originally. First, I arrived in that land. The one without magic. But then I was brought here.”
“Well, how am I supposed to say no when you’re looking at me like that?” he demanded with a huff. “Fine. A few days. But it’s not sleeping on my bed.”
Bae grinned. “Thanks, Papa! He can stay in my room, if you’d like.” he offered.
